Pigeons races is not a new sport in morocco, but it beggins so simple in the beggining of the 1980. some fanciers organise the first races from 100 km to 300 or 400 km.
Then we see the foundation of the first association for the racing pigeons and now morocco counts more than 70 association whom organise races and contain several fanciers.
This hobby find a big success in morocco and we organise races from 100 km to 1000km. You can find the most famous bloodlines in the moroccan lofts like stichelbaut cattrysse, kuypers, arden, janssen and many other known fanciers.
Races after races we can see several specialists in the sport who are always present in the results.
The future of this sport is so big in my country and many europeen guests are surprised from the level of fanciers and pigeons. |
